Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Oxfordshire Type : Small Animal Location : Oxfordshire Practice Type : Part of a group Facilities: The Veterinary Surgery is a purpose-built small animal first opinion practice that opened its doors to business in 2014. The practice has a large reception with separate dog and cat areas, separate dog and cat wards, a large prep room with an isolation kennel, an imaging room, a dental theatre, and a surgical theatre. Team: The team consists of 2.75 full-time Vets, 4.5 full-time Nurses, and one Practice Manager. Two of the Vets are studying for small animal medicine certificates. They are a small, friendly team who get on well both in and out of the practice. Role: The job role offers a varied caseload of work within a small team of Vets and Nurses. The day-to-day duties include caring for inpatients, surgical nursing, anaesthesia, nursing clinics, reception, and much more. Hours:  The rota involves working 40 hours over 4 days per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 07:45 to 18:00. There is a shared Saturday morning (currently 1 in 8 Saturdays) from 08:15 to 13:00. No OOH.
