An opportunity exists for a passionate and results-driven People & Culture professional to join the GPC Asia Pacific team in Auckland.You will partner with our NAPA and Repco store network and our distribution centres in our Northern Region (Auckland to Kaitaia). Reporting to the General Manager – People & Culture; you will work closely with people managers and team members in delivering pragmatic and commercially sound people planning and advice. This is a busy role, where you are responsible for end to end generalist support.As our Business Partner, your focus will be:Coaching and supporting People Managers in how to best lead, inspire and engage their teams daily along with driving key change initiatives as our business continues to transformProviding advice, support and People Manager coaching on performance, employee relations and complex workplace investigationsEnsuring there is a strong talent pipeline across all positions, aligned to Capability and Development programs and clear succession planningSupporting safety programs and initiatives, as well as assisting the OHS team with people matters across the regionBeing a positive and collaborative contributor to all People & Culture deliverables, and an engaged member of the wider People & Culture teamIdeally, you are:Customer centric, people-focused and passionate about delivering commercial People & Culture solutionsSelf-motivated and has solid People & Culture operational and tactical experience in multi-site sales operationsCommitted to building strong working relationships and engaging with all levels of the business, and thrive in a fastpaced environmentAn excellent coach, communicator, planner and influencerSolid working knowledge of current employment legislation, change management and People & Culture practices; which is supported by a degree qualification in People & Culture or a related disciplineYou will be provided with high levels of autonomy and decision making ability.
