Our People & Capability team's purpose is to support our leaders and kaimahi/staff to deliver for Waitaha/Canterbury through implementing relevant and meaningful strategies and developing our people and cultural leadership. You'll be part of our wider People & Capability Team supporting several portfolios across the organisation. You'll be responsible for providing day to day specialist administration support to the people leaders and People & Capability team, as well as being involved in team initiatives and projects. Ideally, you'll bring strong administrative experience from a similar role and have a background of customer focused service delivery within a collaborative team environment. You'll have an aptitude for systems and process improvement, an eye for accuracy, and enjoy variety in your day. You'll have a natural ability to connect with others and remain calm and steady when things get busy. You'll be a confident communicator, capable of engaging in a confidential manner with a wide variety of people at all levels of the organisation. Your experience may include: A degree in Human Resources or a related field Previous administration experience in a similar environment, including creating employment related documentation throughout the employment life cycle Working with policies, procedures, and NZ employment legislation A high attention to detail in order to produce quality documentation Working within digital environments, end-to-end automated process, and people management systems An ability to learn new systems quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment You'll enjoy contributing to our effective, strong and valued relationship with all Papatipu Runanga within the Canterbury rohe and Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu and be curious, keen to enhance and build your career, whilst being well supported by a committed, experienced, and fun team.
