Job Description One of our high performing team members has taken a secondment, resulting in a rare but exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our close knit and engaged People and Culture Team. The purpose of this role will be to work with our village management to support them with all things People & Culture. Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner (Operations), this role can be based in either Christchurch or Wellington.
Qualifications Your Key Responsibilities:
Build effective relationships with portfolio managers so-as to influence them in their leadership and management of people. Provide timely, accurate, lawful, best practice advice and support across a broad range of P&C matters - including performance management, recruitment, induction, employment relationship, remuneration, recognition and reward, engagement, diversity & inclusion, wellbeing, leadership development and change management Work collaboratively with other people and in the team to support key P&C Strategic objectives and ensure that they align to business requirements in your portfolio. Contribute as a key P&C team member to a wide range of projects focused on the development of new initiatives, programs, and policies across all aspects of our strategy Proactively identify people challenges and opportunities faced by the portfolio that impact on the portfolio achieving business outcomes and seek to address through the design and implementation of relevant initiatives that are complimentary to the P&C and Operational strategies. About you:
Have a relevant HR (or similar) tertiary qualification 3-5 years generalist advisory experience preferably with a solid recruitment and ER grounding You have a strong process focus, great administrative skills and good attention to detail You are highly skilled at building networks and strong relationships You have excellent time management skills and the ability to handle conflicting priorities You have an eye for continuous improvement Additional Information What's in it for you?
