We have an opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join a fantastic team in Greenlane, Auckland. Therole is a Permanent Full-Time position.
Working for this busy and ambitious not for profit organisation, you will be responsible for the full Payroll function from start to finish; ensuring all HR and Payroll data is captured accurately and efficiently.
Duties will include: Processing of the various payroll runs (3 fortnightly and 1 monthly)Responding to payroll queries from both employees and managersEnsure all documents are correctly filedAssisting with the coaching and training of managers in payroll functions, Spectrum Care Trust Board policy and procedures and relevant legislationAssisting with the coaching and training of staff with regard to RosterOn and iChris/Chris21 Self Service ………….and more!The ideal candidate will have: Experience in payroll, iChris/Chris21 or a relevant systemExperience in high volume waged payroll in NZExperience in applying CEA terms and carrying out payroll checks and balancesFamiliar with NZ payroll legislationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProblem solvingThe ability to work to deadlines in a calm mannerThe ability to work collaboratively as well as independently as part of a small team.You will be working within a close-knit, supportive team in the not for profit sector.
