Work Location: Te-Awamutu-WaikatoEmployment type: Full time Permanent(guaranteed 30 hours / per week,Tuesday to Saturday),Our pay: $29.66 - $31.66 per hourWe are a well-established popular bakery based in Te-Awamutu-Waikato. Toenhance our team, we are now looking for 2 Pastrycooks to join ourteam. We are expecting someone who has a passion for food, attentionto details, ability to multi task and be a proactive member of theteam. Ideal candidates should have a NZQF level 4 qualification in cookery or equivalent certificate or 3 years of relevant work experience.Tasks Include: ·      Measure and combine ingredients and raw materials using hands/hand tools and other equipment to make doughs for pies, pastry, bread rolls, and other pastry foods.·      Make sweet, savory and special ingredient fillings, sauces and toppings.·      Check the quality of the ingredients and the prepared raw materials to make sure quality standard are met·      Set, adjust and monitor oven and other cookware's temperatures to ensure proper baking and cooking time·      Take out the baked pastry from the forms, trays, unloading, de-panning and cooling the finished products·      Decorate, glaze and adjust the display of the finished products·      Test the finished products to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality requirements·      Clean and restock workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.·      Check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsIf you believe you have the relevant experience and knowledge, withthe enthusiasm to take on this role, please apply through Myjobspaceplatform.Attention: Please include your visa status in your cover letter ifyou are not a New Zealand resident.  Â
