If this sounds like you, keep reading!To be successful you will need to:Be energetic and dedicated to helping students reach their potential while sharing your knowledge in innovative ways;Be professional;Have a passion for the subject(s);Have familiarity with the NCEA curricula - must have achieved well in high school (equivalent Merit or above);Partake in initial and ongoing training;Be able to tutor in the central Wellington or Kelburn-based libraries, as well as online.Commit until the 1st December 2024 and be able to work a weekly-minimum of 8 hours (for those who are keen for extra hours, you can comfortably tutor up to 15 hours pw).Pay and Training:The starting rate is $31 per hour (inclusive of 8% holiday pay and 3% KiwiSaver). You'll also receive paid admin time each fortnight. As your skills and experience develop, so too could your pay-rate, for those tutors who stay for more than one year.We provide between 10-20 hours of paid training per year, depending on when you begin your employment.Our students do weekly lessons, so there is more regularity with tutoring hours compared with contract tutoring.About us:We have a training and support system that invests in you, meaning that you can become an excellent coach for your students.We are a fun team!
