We are looking for a Parts Advisor for our Keith Andrews Hamilton Dealership. About Us: Keith Andrews is renowned for our commitment to excellence in the sales and service of commercial vehicles. We service Fuso, but Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner, leading the world in vehicle advanced safety options and technology. Our state-of-the-art service department is staffed by a team of skilled professionals dedicated to keeping our customers' trucks running smoothly. As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a Parts Advisor to join our dynamic and customer-focused team.
Responsibilities: Provide professional and friendly customer service, both in-person and over the phone. Identify and locate the correct parts for customers using catalogues and computer systems. Place accurate orders with suppliers and follow up to ensure timely delivery. Maintain inventory records, perform stock checks, and restock parts as needed. Assist customers with sales, pricing, and transactions, promoting additional parts and accessories. Offer basic technical support, addressing customer questions about parts installation and compatibility. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth communication and efficient processes. Keep accurate documentation of customer interactions, orders, and invoices. Adhere to safety protocols and comply with company policies and regulations. Qualifications: Previous experience in parts-related roles, preferably in the automotive industry; additional technical or automotive-related education is a plus. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications. Familiarity with parts catalogues, computerized inventory systems, and standard office software. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
