Partnership Co-Ordinator (Initial Teacher Education)Mo te tunga | About the role Partnership Coordinator - Initial Teacher Education The Partnership Co-Ordinator supports the delivery of Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programmes in primary and secondary schools.
The Partnership Coordinator will be part of the Learning Delivery Directorate reporting to a Programme Delivery Manager.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience with engaging in cultural activities with an understanding of ahuatanga Maori (values, culture and tikanga)Excellent skills in building and maintaining networks and relationshipsHigh level of interpersonal and oral communication skills, and excellent written communication skills, particularly high standard in written EnglishAbility to effectively develop and implement priorities, meet deadlines.An understanding of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi as it relates to the education sectorNga pukenga mo te tunga | What you will bring to the role You will have a passion for impacting the lives of everyday people and seeing them achieve their educational goals and dreams. You will have:
Appropriate teaching qualification and preferablya post-graduate qualification.Current practicing certificate with the Teaching Council NZ.Experience in supporting teachers to develop effective pedagogy and practice.Experience in building and maintaining partnerships with a range of stakeholders, especially in an education delivery setting relating to workplace-based learning.The Kuratini Tuwhera is Aotearoa New Zealand's leading distance and online learning provider.
