Are you ready to make your mark on the world of finance? What you'll be doing: Rather than drowning in spreadsheets all day, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work directly with our clients. Your tasks will include: Providing general accounting, taxation, and business advice to clients. Supporting our clients to meet their business needs. Reviewing others' work and assisting Managers and Partners. Completing group and/or complex Financial Statements and Tax Returns. Financial modelling and forecasting. Working alongside other teams within MDP to identify opportunities to collaborateon client engagements. Retaining and growing our client base through quality advice, service, and support. Developing strong internal networks within our firm to leverage others expertise. Building a professional network of referrers and obtaining new clients. Supporting our wider team to develop and grow. From a compliance perspective, you will play a critical role in our team to ensure our clients meet their compliance and tax obligations, including: Reviewing annual financial statements Managing provisional and terminal tax obligations Managing the flow and quality client compliance work Who we are looking for. We want you to think like a business owner! We're after someone with the drive, a can-do attitude and commitment to provide quality outcomes for our clients, our team and our business. We also want you to have: Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills others are envious of! Previous experience mentoring and coaching graduates and junior team members. Strong level of technical compliance and advisory proficiency. Excellent Microsoft Excel and Xero skills. 5+ years' experience within a mid-tier Accounting firm is desirable.
