As part of our continued growth, we have an opportunity for a Contract Psychologist to join the team to work in our Auckland based clinic and within the community working at family homes, community groups and schools. The role will be a flexible contract for approximately 3 days per week.The RoleWill work to deliver and continue to improve psychological services to parents, families and children.Duties will include:Provision of specialist psychologist services with an emphasis on Parenting and child behaviour, in a clinic and community settingsUndertake in-depth specialist parenting and child behaviour assessment and analysis for evidenced based interventionsOffer therapy (CBT, ACT, Triple P) in relation to child emotional behavioural issuesProvide counselling for parents involved in the Family CourtThe PersonTo be considered for the role you must possess:Registered Psychologist with a current Annual Practising CertificateMasters level tertiary qualification and Postgraduate Degree/DiplomaComprehensive experience working with children and familiesCurrent driving license and own vehicleExcellent verbal and written communications skillsComplex problem solving abilityAbility to work as part of a teamSelf motivated to achieve deadlines and objectivesPsychological skills and practiceThe BenefitsTo work for an international, socially aware organisation, with potential to develop the role and your career.
