Details of the offer

Required Qualifications:Completing a relevant tertiary qualification
Primary Job Objective:To provide high level trust accounting support to the firm and provide
financial, accounting, administration and project support to the Finance Team
as needed.
Key Relationships: Internal- Lane Neave Management Team (Chief Executive, Finance
Manager, HR Manager, IT Manager, Communications Manager, Facilities and
Support Manager), Trust Account staff, Partners, solicitors, support staff
External- Clients, Banks, IRD
Key Skills: Communication- convey information in both verbal and written formats as
appropriate for the needs of the target audience
Interpersonal- develop a rapport with others and form working
relationships both internally and externally
Problem solving- understand and deal with difficult situations, apply logic
or reasoning, identify problems, evaluate options and select the best solution
Self management- ability to work independently and under pressure
whilst meeting deadlines
Accuracy- be precise and correct in approach to tasks
Ability to learn- able to acquire new skills and knowledge
Flexibility- being able to adapt to change
Technology- work with new technology and demonstrate proficiency with
existing programmes, i.e. MS applications, Affinity, ANZ Direct
Key Duties & Responsibilities:To provide high level trust accounting support to the firm which tasks
include, but not limited to, the following:

1. Receipting incoming funds
2. Processing cheque requests
3. Processing journal requests
4. Processing of bank transfers / Same Day Cleared payments /

international transfers using ANZ Direct Online
5. Processing of Call deposit withdrawals / closures where necessary to

complete funds transfers
6. Preparing daily banking
7. ANZ Direct Online Banking
8. Providing support to other accounts team members, as required
9. Other duties as from time to time requested by Management Team
:General support to the wider Finance Team
1. Provide accountancy support for the Finance Manager
2. Project Administration: Assisting with or managing special projects

which a designed to adapt and improve the reporting structures of the
practice both for internal users and external users
3. Provide back up to the accounts receivable and payable function as
required
4. Any other financial administration tasks as required from time to time
