All about the job The ParkingOfficer is a representative of Porirua City Council who will encounter manyratepayers and visitors to the city on a daily basis. You'll work in asupportive team that understands the challenges of the role. As our ParkingOfficer you will be responsible for: monitoring parking in the CBD and Porirua Suburbs and issuing parkingtickets as requiredaccurately issue infringements to non-compliant vehiclesuse appropriate technology to take photos and collect additionalinformation to support infringement notices providing a customer focused approach to responding to customer enquiriesregarding parking, providing directions or visitor information about the city. All about you It would begreat if you have worked in a similar role, and delivered great customerservice in a range of situations. You'll need toshow us that you are: great at communicating and have the confidence to engage with PoriruaCity residents and visitors in a friendly mannerresilient with the ability to keep calm under pressure, to sustain ahigh level of energy, motivation, and positivitycustomer focused with a calm and professional manner able to demonstrate a willingness to learn, reliable and committed toyour mahi have a good level of physical fitness and the ability to walk for longperiods of time have a current and unrestricted Drivers Licenceexperienced with basic Microsoft Office products with intermediate levelcomputer skillsAll about Porirua City Ourcity is changing and we need skilled people to help make that happen.
