Are you a Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking to work in sunny Hawkes Bay? Do you want an opportunity to choose your hours and give yourself a true work / life balance?
We are looking for an experienced, passionate Occupational Therapist who is committed to working with in collaboration with whanau for the wellbeing of tamariki. If successful you'll be working in the community where the child lives and will approach your day using tikanga and relationship centred practice.
The Child Development Service (CDS) is a supportive, multi-disciplinary team who provide paediatric services throughout Hawke's Bay. Our focus is children living with disability aged from birth to sixteen years. If successful, you'll join our team of Occupational Therapists within the wider CDS team. This position offers you the chance to make a real difference!
To be considered for this position you'll need the following:
NZ Registered Occupational Therapist with current annual practicing certificate (APC)
Thorough knowledge of the health and social issues that vulnerable tamariki and their whanau experience
Full driving license
Enable accreditation in basic housing
An interest in complex equipment provision including wheelchairs and seating
