Monday to Friday.Status - Fixed Term 9 months.Location - Corporate office incentral Christchurch.Salary - As part of theAdministration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has beenmapped to National Band 3 / Profile 3C.For further information about the administration and clerical pay equitysettlement - Administration and Clerical Pay Equity - Te Whatu Ora -Health New ZealandKia hiwa ra!Mo te tunga About the roleThe People and Capability (P&C) Administratorrole is part of our HR Shared Services (HRSS) whanau.They tautoko (support)the largest workforce in the South Island ensuring we pay our kaimahi (staff)accurately, on time, every time.They - re hard-working and dedicated todelivering their mahi (work) to high standards putting the customer at thecentre of what they do.This People and Capability Administration kapa(team) tautoko (supports) our rangatira (leaders) and kaimahi (staff), throughthe employee lifecycle, by delivering a high level of customer service andprocessing Human Resourceand Payroll contractual changes and otheradministration tasks - many of which are based via our Case Management Service - MAX.You will spend your time processing these cases to ensure our peoples HRjourney is concise and any changes that effect their pay are processed on time.The People and Capability Administration team doesall of this, while always striving to deliver great and timely customer serviceto our organisation, rangatira (leaders) and kaimahi (staff) as well asexternal customers.In this role, you will be responsible for :Delivering excellent customer service via our Case Management Service (MAX), via phone or sometimes email.Performing high quality and high-volume administration tasks to process contractual changes for the upcoming pay run.Supporting the hiring manager and employee through the employee lifecycle / journeyProcessing employee information and maintaining the confidentiality of information, alwaysEnsuring legislative compliance across our HR activitiesResolving or escalating complex cases or conflictsKo wai koe About YouWe are looking for someone who has a passion forthe manaaki hauora (Health Industry) and wants to contribute in ameaningful way.To be successful in this role, you should enjoy interactingwith customers, be able to work autonomously and able to take initiative.Inthis role, you would be required to work in a fast-paced environment, be ableto manage multiple priorities and distractions.This role would be ideal for someone who is lookingto develop anunderstanding with Human Resources and Payroll in a large complex and everchanging organisation.Nga pukenga me nga wheako Skills and experienceYour skills should include :Experience in customer service within a fast-paced environment while managing multiple conflicting demands;Payroll knowledge is preferred but not essential;Exceptional computer skills, you can pick up how to use different systems and are able to pivot between them expertly.
