Overhead Delivery Representative

Rangiora-based MainPower New Zealand Limited owns and operates the electricity distribution network across the North Canterbury region. Overhead Delivery Representative MainPower is a Winner of the 2021 Well-being category NZ Energy Excellence Awards. We have a great opportunity for an individual with overhead knowledge. The position of Overhead Delivery Representative exists to take a leading role in pole surveying, maintaining proactive communication with customers and liaison with planning and delivery functions to ensure that all parties have fulfilled their obligations. The role is cross functional and will provide support and undertake tasks and duties across the service delivery team. Ideally you will have: A line mechanic or related qualification. Design knowledge (overhead pole plans and electrical drawings) – desirable. Experience in pricing, tendering, planning and scheduling works – desirable. Knowledge of business systems supporting project and schedule management. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Word and Outlook; and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems. Excellent communication skills – oral, written, and interpersonal. The ability to prioritise workload.
