Based in either Christchurch (Hornby) or stunning Hokitika on the West Coast, we have a great new opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic Organisational Development Advisor to join us. Reporting to our Organisational Development Manager, and supported by an HR/OD Coordinator, the role will focus on enhancing employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle across Westland Milk, its sister company Oceania Dairy and subsidiary companies Pure Nutrition, Canary Foods and EasiYo. The role is broad in scope and opportunity, working within our dedicated, fun and supportive People & Culture/HR team and is a great opportunity for someone keen to develop their experience, passion and interest in corporate OD.
More specifically, the types of projects that the OD Advisor will be able to be involved with include:-
employee training needs analysisthe development and roll-out of an exceptional in-house leadership development programmethe enhancement of our performance review and individual development planning processes/systemsWestland's e-learning programme and LMS (learning management system) administrationWestland's culture, diversity and integration events programmeWestland's engagement survey and corresponding initiativesassisting and working closely with the wider HR teamfacilitating training/workshops when requiredOur ideal applicants We are a people-focused team that pride ourselves on building strong and effective relationships - working together to support each other, our people and the business. To us, that attitude is key and so first and foremost, applicants will need to possess proven interpersonal, influencing and relationship building skills and a similar focus.
Ideally applicants will have gained prior experience working in an OD/L&D or HR Advisor capacity with exposure to many of the areas listed above, but we are also happy to offer you development in any of the areas you may not yet had chance to experience.
A keen level of attention to detail is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong results orientation together with an adaptable, flexible and resilient approach will be the key for success.
