This role of the Organisational Change Specialist is to lead an organisational change process for one of our business groups. Reporting to an HR Business Partner, you will develop and implement an organisational change process and work to embed this successful change for the business group. This role will support your HR Business Partner in executing against the group organisation design model and will lead through the full organisational change process to deliver effective change outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Knowledge and experience: Significant experience leading through change processes end to endProven foundation and knowledge of principles and practice of HR including employment law and compliance requirementsExperience of aligning HR strategies to business needsExperience of championing change, winning buy-in from people leaders and working through resistanceAble to contribute and challenge the status quoProven client management and business literacy skillsStrong interpersonal and negotiation skillsProven ability to effectively coach employees and leaders to build their capability and through complex and difficult issuesAbility to make recommendations to effectively resolve issuesCan juggle conflicting tension and manage communication of "bad news" role modelling inclusive behaviours, raising standards, and improving the profile of HR and the People GroupQualifications: A qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations or other related field or equivalent work experienceYou will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

The team is supported by People, Culture & Safety Group Centres of Excellence teams.
