This sector covers 84Ha consisting of two orchard blocks planted in 2020 both in 2D growing style. About the Role A Foreman is a key hands-on role that sets the standard with supervising teams in the full range of orchard functions.  Duties include: Onboarding, training and mentoring of new team members and contractors Overseeing efficient completion of daily orchard tasks Ensure quality standards are met Support and promote safe and healthy work practices and environment       Coordination of orchard tasks and efficient use of resources Cost tracking of daily orchards tasks Skills and Experience Required Applicants will ideally have: Experience in the pip fruit industry and sound knowledge of horticultural practices Experience in training teams and building a positive culture Grow Safe and Approved Handler certification Achieved or working towards a National Certificate in Horticulture A positive attitude with a hunger to learn and develop new skills Flexibility regarding work hours and a full driver licence are essential Applications close: Friday 29 September  Benefits of working as a Orchard Foreman in Hastings, Hawke's Bay: ?
