About the Waihi to Omokoroa Safety Improvements Project (W2O)The Waihi to Omokoroa (W2O) project is New Zealand's largest Safe Network Programme project, making safety improvements to 40km of road between Omokoroa and Waihi. Over the span of the project, the HEB Construction team alongside our partners are completing critical safety improvements work to make road users experience safer, including ; Widening the road, creating wide centrelines and median barriers, widening the road shoulder, installing road safety barriers , and improving the safety of major intersections along the alignment.Our site office is based in Katikati - a great location to live and work!About the role:We're on the hunt for Operators and Labourer's with 2+ years' experience in a similar role. We're looking for a candidate who has a great attitude, strong work ethic, takes pride in his/her work and wants to contribute and refine his/her skills as part of our team. HEB is committed to training and developing its people so if you're wanting to go places, this may just be the opportunity you're waiting for.What knowledge / experience / qualifications are we after?2+ years' relevant experience within the Construction / Infrastructure IndustryFull, clean Class 1 License - preferably with F, W, T, R endorsements (although a Class 2 or higher is highly advantageous)Demonstrated experience in Road and Drainage Construction and MaintenanceExperience operating machinery such as Rollers, Water Trucks and other road building/maintenance plantA Traffic Controller qualification is highly desirableWho are you?You're passionate about what you do and genuinely take pride in a job well done.
