InterGroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial and coatings and infrastructure. Reporting to the South Island Regional Manager, As the Operations Lead for the region you are responsible for coordinating the industrial teams to deliver quality customer service and delivering jobs/projects on time within budget and to specification. You will be accountable for the day to day leadership of the teams and ensuring that health, safety, environmental and quality standards are achieved and maintained. The Industrial Service Lead will be responsible for maintaining client relationships and providing insights on future development opportunities. You will work closely with the Regional Operations Manager as well as the Head of Infrastructure to ensure the utilization of resources is maximized and efficient. The technical stuff you'll need includes: Robust knowledge of contract / project management, including, planning, reporting, performance monitoring and evaluating and/or qualifications Knowledge and experience of good Health and Safety work practices Quality principles/systems would be advantageous but not necessary Logistical and people management experience Excellent planning and contract/project management and reporting skills Skills Required An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people in all situations Sound organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts/projects at any one time Be creative, influential and solutions-focused Have high professional integrity So come and join our great team today – and show us your character
