We're excited to announce that New World Mount Albert will berejoining the community later this year! With a brand-new store, fresh fit-out and wide offering acrossgrocery, butchery, deli, bakery, produce and liquor, wecan't wait to open our doors again to the Mount Albert community!
With our opening date set for August 2024 we are seeking an Operations& Office Manager to join the team. You'll play an integral part in ourjourney towards a successful store opening and to continuously deliver anawesome shopping experience for our community.
The Role: As Operations & Office Manager you will manage the day-to-dayrunning of the store back-office, ensuring all tasks are accurately completedin a timely and professional manger. This will include HR, compliance, finance,pushing store initiatives.

Ensuring the effective management of staff records includingpersonal details, pay rates, rosters etc.Payroll processing and authorisation as per store policy and PAYEreconciliation and payment.Financials- managing online banking process; ensuring the receipt and control of inwardsgoods documentation, packing slips and invoice; daily processing of salesbanking including control of non-cash items.Ensuring that costs are kept within the parameters set out byOwner Operator.Actively promote high quality internal customer service ensuringthat staff are trained to the store standard in service.Ensure all staff management practices within the office complywith store policies on employment, attendance, Health and Safety, training,leave, discipline etc, such that all staff in the office know they are beingtreated consistently.What's in it for you: We'reinit together, we look after each other, back one another, communicateeffectively, and work together as one winning team, every time.Prove yourself in a new store and within New World known for itspeople development and career opportunities.Drive something within a flexible and creative working environment– if there's a better way, let us know!Be part of a 100% locally owned and operated store.What are we looking for: SAP experience would be advantageous.Previous operational experience.Understanding of FMCG and Supermarkets would be advantageous.Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite of products.Reliable, honest and be a good team player.About New World & Foodstuffs; You know New World, PAK'n'SAVE and FourSquare right?
