Operations Manager – Orderly Services, Non-Clinical Support Opportunity to make a difference Leadership role requiring impact A role like this doesn't come around very often! We have a great opportunity for an experienced individual to provide operational responsibility for the Orderly service. You will provide managerial leadership for a large team of orderly staff, ensuring effective operational management and provision of the highest quality of care for patients and their families.
Reporting to the Service Manager Non Clinical, you will manage the day-to-day operations using effective management of resources, including staff in line with clinical care objectives and goals of the service and to provide financial, administration and operational performance and sustainability. This is a full time position working 40 hours a week across Monday to Friday and based at Middlemore Hospital.
The ideal candidate will need to have at least 5 years management experience in a large health organisation, leading teams to coordinate daily operational delivery to plan and budget management experience. You will need to have experience in managing and communicating effectively with a large number of stakeholders including operational staff and senior management. Experience in critical thinking and decision making to respond to changing requirements and experience in working with multi-cultural and diverse group of people to succeed in this role.
