This position will provide you with an excellent opportunity to combine skills in client relationship and operational warehouse management. As an Operations Manager you will be the prime interface for a portfolio of clients. You will have full P&L responsibility, managing all operational, strategic, financial, and people aspects of delivering services to those clients.This senior role requires a high-calibre individual with the following attributes and skills:An in-depth understanding of logistics including strong warehouse management skillsExcellent relationship management skills, showing a proven ability to manage relationships at all levels, with clients and internally with staffEnsure a competent, motivated and harmonious warehouse teamOperational excellence leadership skills, ensuring standards are maintained and or improved as requiredSolid financial skills that include developing targets, maintaining budgets, and analysing operational initiativesThe ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities effectively and professionallyA leadership background that includes managing and motivating others, to achieve outstanding results on an ongoing basisA tertiary qualification or studying towards a qualificationMaintenance of safety, security, storage solutions, housekeeping, sanitation programs and other site programs as requiredRequirementsThe successful candidate will be highly pro-active, flexible and have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
