Are you experienced in the electricity industry, possessing a passion for driving organisational change and improvement while ensuring you take people on the journey with you?Join PowerNet, the fourth-largest electricity network in New Zealand, as our Operational Excellence Business Partner based in either our modern Invercargill or Balclutha office where you will play a critical role in developing and delivering our operational improvement strategy.About YouCommercially astute, with demonstrated experience in effective leadership, delivery of strategic objectives, and change management, you are confident managing high level projects from end to end.You are able to collaborate with a variety of people, really listening to them so you can understand where challenges and opportunities lie, especially in the field where most of our operations team are working.While you can see the big picture, you are also concerned with the detail, making sure all the appropriate systems and processes are followed and risks are managed.Skills and ExperienceA tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g. Engineering, Business Improvement, Project Management or an equivalent level of experiencePractical experience in identifying, leading and implementing change through effective project management and strategic initiativesDemonstrated understanding of process improvement techniques, including the likes of Lean Management and Six Sigma, with the ability to apply these to drive organisational change and measure successStrong facilitation and mentoring skills with an ability to build credibility and develop high functioning relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Able to train, guide and provide leadership direction and pace to improvement projects and working groupsProven ability to efficiently prioritise, manage and coordinate multiple tasks, delivering these on time with high quality resultsAble to pull data together, objectively analyse the data to establish what is important to achieve the desired outcomes, and provide professional reports.Confident presenting to the Senior Leadership Team and the BoardWhat PowerNet Offers:At PowerNet, our people are our most valuable asset.
