Retail Assistants (Retail & Consumer Products) Hours of work: Sunday 9:45am - 4:15pm and Monday 8:45am – 5:15pm, 14 hours per week Location: SPCA Invercargill Op Shop, Invercargill We are seeking an experienced Op Shop Assistant to oversee the daily operations, with the key focus of optimising sales revenue through excellent customer service and leading our Op Shop team on a Sunday and Monday. You will have good attention to detail and the ability to visual merchandise and present a retail shop to maximise revenue. The role will also include assisting with covering the Op Shop Managers leave throughout the year. The position will be busy, challenging, rewarding and fun! Including a paid day off for your birthday Our ideal candidate will: · Have retail experience, second hand retail experience would be an advantage, however not essential · Have excellent communication and customer service skills, be solutions focused with friendly and a positive can-do attitude · Have people leadership experience, ideally within the not for profit sector with volunteers · Be a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard · Demonstrate empathy and resilience · Have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise and effectively manage workloads · Have strong administration, computer skills and merchandising experience.
