Job Description: Discovery Communications is seeking a resourceful and dedicated Online Web Chat Manager to join our team in Nelson, NZ. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in online chat management and will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our web chat platform. Responsibilities:1. Manage and optimize the online web chat platform to increase customer engagement and satisfaction.2. Develop and implement strategies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the web chat team.3. Monitor chat conversations to ensure quality and accuracy in responses.4. Train and mentor web chat agents to improve their performance and customer service skills.5. Analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve the web chat experience.6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of the web chat platform with other customer service channels.7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in online chat management. Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in online chat management.3. Strong presentation and persuasion skills.4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.7. Experience with chat platforms and customer service systems.
