As the Office Manager, you will provide payroll, finance and administration services. You will report to the Regional Manager and work closely with the Service Leaders.The role is broad requiring an ability to be responsive, multitask and provide competent financial, payroll, IT and administrative skills. Your fit to Stand Tu Maia values and way of working is as important as the specific skills, experience and expertise you bring to the position.This is a unique opportunity for you to join a busy, focused and dedicated team supporting professional social work staff that provide intensive wraparound services to tamariki and whanau living in Dunedin, Oamaru, Invercargill, Gore and Central Otago.We invite applications from motivated, reliable people who have a passion for social equity and have the appropriate backgrounds and qualifications. A proven ability to relate well to a diverse range of people, time management, negotiation and a high level of communication skills are essential as is a full driving license.The key competencies we are looking for are:Demonstrated capability in payroll, accounts, preparing budgets and reporting on monthly variancesExperience in Personnel ManagementOpenness to understanding and valuing Te Ao MaoriExperience in leading workplace health and safetyExcellent understanding of Microsoft office products including Excel and Word and a good working knowledge of a payroll systemExcellent communication skills - including written and oral and an eye for detail.We offer a strong sense of team, good working conditions, a genuine commitment to well-being and significant training and professional development opportunities.
