Our working environment is enjoyable, and our team is committed to being the best that we can be.We offer a four day working weekThe PositionWe are seeking a friendly, customer focused team player who possess' computer skills and warehouse experience to join our team as a Warehouse/Office Administration Assistant. The role is Monday to Thursday at our office in Wanganui, and consists of 20 hours per week. Monday and Tuesday are the busiest days. Ideally the person would start at 8 a.m. Flexibility for additional hours on certain days when there is a large volume of orders is required.The purpose of this role is to (1) Manage incoming orders, and facilitate the process for our warehouse team to pick the orders, and (2) Facilitating the sending of orders with our freight providers and (3) Manage incoming enquiries from customers about order status and general enquiriesKey responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Entering data, printing, and completing box labels and manifesting as requiredMaintaining a clean and tidy work environment & general warehouse dutiesInputting and printing customer orders;Invoicing daily customer orders;Supporting sales/office administration when required, andGeneral administration tasks and housekeeping.Supporting the warehouse with general dutiesThe successful applicant will possess the following attributes:Warehousing and office experience;PC skills required include efficient use of MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook and other MS Office products;Professional presentation and ability to "multi task" and work under pressure at times;Initiative, be proactive, work unsupervised, participant in a team environment, and be flexible to assist in other areasExcellent attention to detail, time management and the ability to prioritise are essential as well as adopting a "can-do" attitudeWe're a small team, so the ability to work alongside the team in a productive way is a mustHere's what we will give youStrong remuneration packageA heap of training and supportA dynamic workplaceA four day week!If this sounds like you and you're excited by the opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
