Devoli provide network automation tools that free up time Time for thinking time for action time for business We automate the hard stuff and help our customers create new voice data and internet products for their clients without having to increase their headcount or train their staff To put it simply we help our customers do more with less Founded in 2008 we have a few more grey hairs than your typical startup We have a long list of loyal customers who ve been with us since the beginning and we re gearing up for some serious transformation in 2020 with householdname clients and gamechanging projects A team of 35ish headquartered in Victoria Park we re in the process of scaling our team to support the big plans in our pipeline The role The Financial Controller role is newly created at Devoli As we enter our next stage of growth we re looking for someone to oversee our accounting operations and manage our small but mighty finance team We know that the FC role is usually defined in a pretty standard way across most organisations so in addition to the normal job here are a few things that we consider to be particularly awesome about this position and why we think this is a massive opportunity for the right person As well as the day to day responsibilities of a Financial Controller you ll also get to be involved in The senior leadership group you ll be able to influence and participate at the senior team level We ll be looking to you to partner with our execs Directors and Managers to become their trusted advisor and help them make business decisions Data mining and analysis You ll be working with the team to think through key elements revenue profitability cost You ll have direct input into big impact areas like product pricing and investment Projects well be overhauling our key finance systems this year and will be looking to you as the project lead What we re looking for Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager we want to hear from you if this would be a step up role for you You currently hold a CA CPA qualification Experience with accounting system change and implementation You ve managed a team before and are comfortable holding one on ones and giving growth feedback You have recent experience with IFRS standards and practices You consider yourself to have a flexible and adaptable style You re equally comfortable looking at the big picture strategic projects and initiatives as well as right down into the technical detail You have proven experience as a trusted advisor to a business were looking for someone that we can rely on absolutely Life at Devoli We re a lively bunch and no two days are ever the same at Devoli HQ but there are a few things that are consistent We re committed to leading the pack in what we do using tooling that is fit for purpose moving quickly with high levels of individual ownership and working without red tape We love a shared lunch Big weekly grocery shops combined with the odd UberEats order means that we keep our team fed watered and caffeinated We embrace flexibility and balance being in the office with working remotely Our team culture is a welcoming one many of our team have been here since inception and there s a strong sense of camaraderie
