Registered Nurses / Dental Assistants - Expressions Of Interest For 2020 - Christchurch

Two positions available (30-35 hours per week each).

One of our Christchurch specialist practices is looking for 2 new members to join their team. As we head into 2020, we would like to hear more from Registered Nurses, Surgical Assistants or experienced Dental Assistants with an interest in Oral Surgery. This background will allow you to meet the expectations of our experienced team. These are busy roles that requires someone who is a strong team player, works well under time pressures, has a confident, outgoing personality and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Some further attributes you will need to possess in order to thrive in this position include:
Experience as either a Dental Assistant or a Registered Nurse is required.
Completed training in an NZRC core immediate level resuscitation (advanced first aid) course.
Completed training in an IV sedation monitoring course through NZDA, or be willing to complete one.
Strong attention to detail.
Good knowledge and understanding of infection control.
Reliability and punctuality.
A positive, empathic and warm personality.
Good computer skills.
Time management skills.
Able to assist with Administration Duties.
Able to assist with Surgical Assisting Duties.
The available roles are a 4-day per week role and a 5-day per week role (both approximately 30-35 hours per week).Hours to be confirmed during interview stage.
