Property Lawyer

Macalister Mazengarb has a longstanding enviable reputation among central Wellington law firms for the legal services in the property area that it provides to its many and varied private clients.

Our property team is busy. As a result, we are looking for an energetic, accurate and client-focussed candidate for a full-time permanent role as a solicitor with, initially anyway, a primary emphasis on residential conveyancing and a variety of related work. You will also have the opportunity to assist our builder and developer clients working alongside our firm’s specialist in this area.

Our expectation is that you will have previous appropriate experience to enable you to hit the ground running. You will be used to using Landonline and ADLS WebForms. Most importantly, you will be wanting to do property work because you enjoy the subject matter, the transactional experience and the satisfaction gained from helping clients effectively navigate what can be a significant milestone in their lives. You will be running transactions yourself although with the experienced support and extra resources available from your team.
