1.0FTE (80 hours per fortnight)
Fixed Term Contract- 8 months
Do you have the skills and leadership to work in a pivotal role within our service?
We require an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead the inpatient Occupational Therapy team and to provide clinical services to a range of areas including but not limited to, OPHRS (Older Persons Health and Rehabilitation Services) inpatient wards, the stroke team, .
The position involves
The capability to lead the inpatient Occupational Therapy team.
Management and professional development of rotational therapist and assistants.
The ability to provide efficient, effective intervention for clients.
Clinical expertise with neurological conditions especially rehabilitation post stroke, management of acute brain injury.
Clinical experience in a variety of inpatient settings e.g. orthopaedics, medical, surgical and rehabilitation
Appropriate Enable NZ accreditation and registration.
A commitment to quality service delivery.
Knowledge or accreditation in FIM (functional Independence measure) and Interai assessment would be desirable but not essential.
Ability to work as part of a team
