The Occupational Therapist is the go-to person across Pathways' services inNelson and Marlborough, covering adult and youth services in supportedresidential settings. Our OT is also there for the awesome tangata whaiora living in their own homes in the community with mental health and/or addiction challenges, and often, they'rejuggling some physical health conditions too.
So, what does an OT do in this role? It's allabout supporting out tangata whai ora to thrive independently. Picture this:you're helping them set up their day, from planning meals, shopping forgroceries, and cooking up some magic, to keeping their space cozy, navigatingpublic transport like a pro, getting ready for work, and mastering the art ofbeing medication independent.

A New Zealand registration as an Occupational TherapistA current full, clean New Zealand driver's licence.A current, comprehensive New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.An understanding of what you need for your own wellbeing.Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Closing Date | RaKatinga: 23 February 2024.
