New Zealand Glassworks Te Whare Tuhua o te Ao (NZG), is the national centre for glass located in Whanganui. NZG is the only public access glass studio within New Zealand, offering facilities for hire by professional glass artists, an extensive public workshop program, residencies and internships. Additionally, NZG has a retail and gallery space showcasing a wide range of premier glass artwork, homewares and jewellery from local and national artists, making it a major attraction for local visitors and tourists alike. NZG is open 7-days/week 10am-4:30pmAbout the Role:We are currently looking to increase our pool of on-call casual staff. This would include covering annual leave, events held in the evening, weekend shifts and short notice to cover sick leave.We are looking for a person who is passionate about customer service and art to be part of a small but busy team. As a member of the front of house staff you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome and excellent retail customer service while promoting New Zealand Glassworks.
