We currently have an exciting role in our Growth and Innovation Team for an experienced and knowledgeable Nutrition Specialist.
About the Role
In this role you will be using your wealth of knowledge on all things relating to equine nutrition along with lifestyle animal and calf feed to drive sales of our NRM and McMillan product ranges through all our preferred channels. There is some flexibility on where this role may be based but it is likely to be in the central North Island between Manawatu, Eastern Bays and Taranaki. In this pivotal sales focused role you will:
Focus on providing retail store support and on-farm advice in the equine and lifestyle sectors
Provide leading nutrition expertise, mentoring and advice to our rural merchants and customers
Use your technical knowledge to build capability in our channels to market
Grow market share and profitability of our feed brands in your region including attaining new sales through merchant channels
Provide a high standard of Account Management for retail stores to maximise sales
About You:
You will have an in-depth knowledge and experience with all thing relating to equine nutrition, calf and lifestyle animal feed. You will be passionate about sharing your knowledge to help drive your customers' success. You may be looking for your next great role after an in-depth career within horse-racing industry working with harness racing or gallopers or you may have a strong background in the equestrian field or another related industry. You will also have:
A relevant tertiary qualifications in animal nutrition
Experience in the agricultural industry with established relationships in the equine field
Proven sales experience working with technical products
Strong relationship building and communication skills
Sound computer skills
