When it comes to an Educator, we're looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and loves sharing their knowledge and expertise. If that's you, then this role would see you educate, train, and provide on-going support for our graduate nurses who participate in the Nurse Entry to Practice (NETP) Programme during their first year of practice.
Having been in the learner's seat yourself, you'll understand and be sensitive to the challenges new graduates face. You'll be someone who wants to guide and provide top quality clinical support by working alongside them.
This is a pivotal role that directly contributes to the quality and success of our nursing workforce at the Hawke's Bay DHB. You won't work alone, this is an additional NETP Nurse Educator position within our team so being able to work collaboratively is a must.
It's important you can prove a background in acute nursing and you need to be the holder of a current New Zealand APC.
