Nurse Educator - Bay of Islands (0.8 FTE) at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Tai Tokerau, Northland Are you an experienced nurse who is passionate about sharing your knowledge and enjoy coaching and supporting other staff members? If so, the General Ward in Bay of Islands Hospital is looking for you!We are currently seeking a Nurse Educator to work at Bay of Islands Hospital within the General Ward and Accident and Medical to promote, facilitate and provide clinical education to maximise health care delivery, enhance patient outcomes, and promote clinical excellence and evidence-based professional nursing practice.This position is permanent part time, working 32 hours per week.Primary functions include:Promote clinical excellence through the facilitation, development and provision of ward/unit based education programmes and resources.Develop the competence and capability of the nursing workforce within the clinical area.Demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement by leading and/or participating in quality improvement activities.Demonstrate consistently high clinical standards, clinical leadership and professionalismWorking with Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is about more than just a job.
