This 0.2FTE role could either be based at the Marlborough Health Hub, or based at the Richmond Health Hub, requiring regular travel to Marlborough.This role will also provide support for otherareas in the organisation.As a nurseeducator it is your role to create a positive learning environment for ournurses and to coach and educate staff to their best potential resulting inimproved experiences for our health consumers. You will work alongside the DistrictNursing and Public Health Nursing teams in a clinical coach/mentoringcapacity, leading and embedding evidence-based practice, developing educationstrategies, involving staff in identifying areas for development, anddeveloping objectives and plans to help staff apply learnings to practice.You will be committed to embedding the principles of thePae Ora Act (2022) and promoting the importance of equity in your nursing practice. A large component of this role will beensuring that clinical quality systems are in place within and across our nursingservices to enhance care delivery.Your hours of work will be 16 hours a fortnight, between the hours of 0700 to 1800, Monday to Friday.Ko wai hekaitono totika? (Who is an appropriateapplicant?)You will bean experienced, resilient, and adaptable senior registered nurse with a current practicing certificateand substantial communitynursing experience. You will have excellent communication and engagement skills,and you will have demonstrated your ability to teach adults in both formal andinformal setting.
