Purposes If you have returned from serving a successful full-time mission within the last 12 months, then we have the perfect job for you. We are looking for part-time fixed-term teachers for 6 months who will be working up to 20-25 hours per week instructing missionaries on how to effectively teach the gospel using Preach My Gospel and the scriptures.  You will be available for daytime and evening shifts from Monday to Saturday, and some Sunday work may also be required for translation purposes.
Responsibilities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Providing instruction on the approved training model for preaching the gospelDirecting missionaries in planning and accounting for their learningDeveloping and maintaining a relationship with missionaries based on love, respect and courtesyResponding to missionaries' needs and strengthening their faith in the Lord Jesus ChristHelping missionaries to become Disciples of Jesus ChristTeaching languages especially French, Samoan, Tongan, Fijian, KiribatiPlanning and preparing for instructing missionariesAttending regular training in-service meeting Helping in other tasks as assigned by the MTC Manager Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Successfully served a full-time mission with an honourable releaseKnowledge of the content of Preach My Gospel and approved principles of missionary workExemplify missionary standards in dress, grooming and behaviourFluent in written and spoken EnglishFluent in one or more of the following languages is preferred and an advantage: French, Samoan, Tongan, Fijian, Kiribati With legal authorisation to work in New ZealandTemple worthiness is a requirement upon application and will be a condition of continued employment.  A letter of recommendation will be sought from your Mission President and Bishop.
