We are committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in all aspects of our operations.Position Overview:To continue to support growth and expansion in the Central Otago region and the Lakeland Network, we are excited to be building a new PowetNet depot and office in Frankton, Queenstown and are seeking an experienced New Building Project Manager to oversee all aspects of the project.This is a fixed term role for 18 months, with variable hours ranging from 16 hours a week up to 32 hours a week while in the construction phase.Key Responsibilities:Demonstrate technical expertise in building project management to effectively navigate the complexities of the construction processEnsure successful completion of the new build project within scope, budget, and timeline.Develop and maintain accurate reporting mechanisms to track progress and communicate effectively with stakeholdersManage multiple activities simultaneously, prioritising tasks to ensure project milestones are metBuild strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate project progressionUtilise negotiation skills to secure necessary resources and resolve conflicts for project successIdentify and mitigate risks including financial, technical and logistical challengesKey Skills and Experience:A relevant qualification in Project Management, Engineering or a related fieldA minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Project ManagerTechnical expertise in building project managementWhy Join PowerNet:At PowerNet, we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where employees are empowered to excel.
