Electricity - Network Access Planner New Plymouth About the role You will be part of the team that processes applications for access to the Powerco electricity network. Your communication skills will enable you to negotiate obstacles and address issues to manage, plan and coordinate outages effectively.
We are seeking candidates with solid electrical experience. You may be an electrician, have previous field experience from an electricity distribution environment, or a related electrical industry. You will be working in a supportive team environment that offers training in the specific skills you require.

Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum of five years' electrical experience (HV an advantage)Knowledge of substation and underground/overhead HV operating systems would be desirableKnowledge of protection systems and other substation equipment would be desirableUnderstanding of Health & Safety requirements and legal complianceDesirable Skills: Great relationship building skills with the ability to interact and communicate at various levels across the organisation and with external customers/contractorsAbility to work in a highly technical situation utilising various computer programs and commitment to maintain and update technical knowledgeOutstanding organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and exercise independent judgment, common sense and initiativeAbout us Our purpose is to connect communities.
