Our client provides technical instruments, laboratory equipment, chemicals and consumables to a diverse portfolio of customers. They are the leaders in their field and are continuing to grow and expand.
This role is a true leadership position, we are looking for someone who can coach and mentor their team and build robust sales disciplines into the day to day.
A typical day in the life:
Analyze key customer markets to identify sales focus and potential revenue opportunities Develop and implement sales growth plans for all sales specialists Drive team sales performance through multiple internal initiatives Identify and address key areas for improvement and develop on any performance gaps Ensure territory setup, portfolio activities and key events achieve objectivesInfield coaching of sales specialists to improve strategic selling skills, product knowledge overall sales team performanceBuilding strong relationships with Key Customers Conduct business reviews with key customers as requiredA bit about you:
Can engage and develop high performing teamsHas a proven track record of sales performance and leadership Can comfortably lead through ambiguity and uncertainty Drives initiatives that increase performance, engagement and moral Holds a tertiary qualification in Science or related areas - this is essential given it is a niche, complex industryPosses high emotional intelligence, being able to connect with people and get the best out of them Financially literate, experience working with budgets, PNLs and commercial contracts Strong commercial acumen with influence and negotiations skills Apply today!
