The Opportunity: We are looking for a Quality leader to join Goodman Fielder as our National Quality Manager to continue our business on a Quality journey and help us achieve our goal of being best in class. Integral to achieving our goal will be taking a forward thinking, strategic approach and creating a Quality First culture amongst our teams and sites.
In order to achieve this, your responsibilities will include:
Build a 'Quality' culture within the business through the coaching and supporting of the senior leadership team, site managers and site teamsWork with the Technical team to develop a robust quality program with an aim to both preventative and reactiveDevelop and maintain a strong working relationship with major customer quality functions e.g. Foodstuffs, Woolworths and key suppliers and service providersDevelop and drive food safety, regulatory and quality strategies for GFNZ, that result in improved customer complaints and First Time Quality performance across a 3-5 year horizonPartner with leaders across Product Development, Operations & Process Development to identify and implement product initiatives to improve quality and food safetyAbout you In order to make this role a success, we are looking for first and foremost a Leader with a background in Quality who can utilize the Technical team to take the business on a maturity journey to achieve our goals.
Experiences, skillsets and competencies we are looking for include:
Proven experience in driving Quality outcomes with the ability to influence key, senior stakeholders to embed a cultural shiftA strategic mindset to build a preventative Quality planWorking knowledge of NZ Food Quality standards, preferably with practical experience in the Food Manufacturing industryPrior people leadership experience and driving a high-performance teamWhat we can offer You will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together resulting in a highly collaborative and flexible work environment.
