Our Radio Broadcasting programmes require an outstanding leader and lecturer. Reporting to the Head of School Undergraduate Studies, the National Programme Co-ordinator Radio Broadcasting will lead the ongoing delivery and development of programmes to meet stakeholder needs. The teaching component of this role is 0.5 full time equivalent. The ideal candidate will meet or exceed the following criteria; A Bachelor qualification relevant to the programme. Teaching qualification Academic leadership experience of at least five years including experience managing staff, preferably leadership experience in the tertiary sector. Relevant experience co-ordinating the delivery of Radio Broadcasting programmes, and experience monitoring NZQA accredited programmes. At least five years relevant tertiary teaching experience to Diploma level. Significant experience working in the Commercial Radio Industry. Previous experience in role with a focus on educational quality improvement and quality assurance. Proven record of research experience. Up to date knowledge of radio broadcasting technology and software. Practical up to date knowledge and skills in Microsoft computing packages. We are seeking an authentic values-based leader who is able to demonstrate previous relevant success in leadership. Knowledge of tikanga Maori and the ability to korero Te Reo Maori to at least a level 2 competency is desirable, or open to learning.
