For over 40 years, Portacom has been a pioneer of designing, manufacturing and hiring modular buildings in New Zealand. Operating from two primary manufacturing facilities in Auckland and Christchurch, and supported by a network of operational facilities nationwide, Portacom offers unrivalled service and capability with the largest hire fleet in New Zealand.
They have developed a comprehensive range of transportable, temporary or permanent modular buildings available in a variety of layouts for industrial projects, construction, accommodation, offices, education facilities and equipment housing.
This new appointment performs a critical role in the development and implementation of policy, providing support, training and guidance. It requires someone who puts culture first and prides themselves on their ability to communicate effectively and build rapport quickly.
Working across the organisation and its divisions will make this person very visible; attitude and relationship building skills will be extremely important in ensuring effective outcomes.
What attributes are important?
5+ years’ experience in H&S
Strong work ethic and appreciation of the detail regard in this space
Proven background working across multiple teams
Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and laws
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both orally and in writing
Ability to handle high workloads and in a pressurized environment
Preferences:
10+ years’ experience
A recognized H&S qualification
Exposure to the industry sector
