Step into this leadership postition for a national customer services team in a role where you are set up for success from day one.
This highly regarded organisation is a global leader in their industry with multiple manufacturing sites across New Zealand and a footprint in over 40 countries around the globe.Their operation in NZ is thriving with a clear direction and slick process which help drive their success. At the heart of this is their National Customer Services team. Split across two sites in Christchurch and Auckland this team is pivotal to ensuring processes and procures are followed and standards are maintained, contributing to their high level of customer satisfaction.
They are looking for an experienced Customer Services professional to join them in Christchurch as National Customer Services Manager to lead this team. Due to the quick turnaround needed they are looking for someone to join them initially on a contract basis to start on or before July 29th, however this role as the potential to become permanent so we would be pleased to hear from anyone looking for a longer term career move.
What are we looking for?
Stepping into the role of National Customer Services Manager you will be responsible for the day to day management of the Customer Service Department. The primary function of your role is to provide leadership and direction to the Customer Service Representatives, ensuring process and procedures are adhered to and that ensure that an excellent standard of service is provided and maintained.
What skills will you bring to the role?
The drive to succeed is key in this role, but in addition you'll have the following:

8+ years in a senior customer services role
Practical working knowledge of modern-day ERP software/systems
FMCG/B2B industry experience
You may already be a team leader, but if not you'll be ready to make that move
Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
You will be strong on structure and process management
Excellent people management skills with an empathetic leadership style
Resilient with a talent for effective stakeholder engagement
