Reference: 6562619Is working with large nationwide customers to develop and secure long-term business relationships what 'spins your wheels'?Are you equally comfortable walking into a manufacturing facility as you are walking into a government department for a meeting?Tired of being used for your skill set and then chewed up and spat out by faceless corporates?Does the thought of working for an extremely stable company with over 110 years' history in New Zealand and ongoing career progression opportunities appeal?Alsco Uniforms is the nationwide market leader in the Textile, Health & Safety, Washroom Services and Hygiene Consumables market, with branches covering the entire country.We have seen rapid growth of over 200% in our National Accounts portfolio over the last decade, with over 144 National Accounts now under management and a portfolio comprising 35% of our total revenue base.We now have a need for a National Account Manager to be based outside Auckland to:Oversee our departmental relationships in the governmental and state-owned sectorProvide focused management of our National Accounts in the lower North Island and South IslandManage a significant group of large nationwide clients, with a view to growing both the breadth and depth of our revenue streams in our National Account customer baseTake ownership of the key performance indicators of the roleProvide regular reporting on progress, key relationship development and market activity (both ours and our competitors).Reporting directly to our head of Sales & Marketing, this role will work alongside our existing Auckland-based National Account Manager to ensure that all our key national customers get the care, focus, and attention they deserve.We are ideally seeking a Wellington based candidate due to the nature of the assigned customers; however, this is not a hard requirement.
