The role The role involves full mechanical repairs to a variety of motorcycle brands including on-road and off-road motorcyclesFault finding and diagnostic work.General maintenance and servicing
While most of the customer interaction takes place through the customer support team for more complex technical issues, there is an element of customer contact involved in your role. As a result, good general communication skills are preferred but not essential.


The skills needed
An automotive trade qualification equivalent to the level 4 national certificate is required. Some consideration may be given to applicants who hold equivalent experience in place of a national certificate, but it is essential you hold the practical skills and employment history of a motorcycle technician.

In the absence of available skills here in New Zealand consideration may be given to applicants who are offshore. The employer holds INZ employer accreditation and Automotive Employment NZ employs 2 in house licensed immigration advisers so the process is seamless if you are based offshore.


Remuneration
The roles are full time offering a minimum of 40 hours per week. High hourly rates from $32 to $42 per hour are payable in line with skills and experience held.
