Mmic Technology Lead (Ngtc), Ime

· Support the Cluster Head (Technology) in achieving the visions and missions for establishing the National GaN Technology Centre (NGTC) as a premium GaN technology centre and manufacturing hub.· Responsible for leading a team of engineers and scientists in III-Nitride technology road mapping, R&D pathfinding and planning for advanced GaN-based device and· MMIC technology capabilities including DC and RF/mmwave characterization, device and MMIC simulation and modelling, failure analysis/reliability and qualification tools and inline electrical testing capabilities for GaN device and circuits.· Lead and coordinate the transfer of developed device and MMIC technologies to the Engineering cluster (process modules and process integration teams).· Deliver innovations and generates intellectual property related to GaN device and MMIC technologies which include device and MMIC design and development of novel processes, methodologies, and approaches for catering to new process needs and technology platforms.· Initiate and secure research fundings through public research grant calls andindustry funded projects.· Initiate, coordinate and manage research collaborations with IHLs and industry partners.· Provide regular progress reporting of the NGTC activities to the management.· Participate, lead, and represent NGTC in customer meetings.Job Requirements:· PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, or closely related fields are welcome to apply.· 10 years of experience in GaN technology development including characterization (e.g. DC, pulsed IV, small-signal and load-pull measurement) and device modelling· (e.g. TCAD, Silvaco etc.); preferably in RF GaN-on-Silicon or GaN-on-SiC technology development.· At least 5 years of experience in leading a team of research engineers/scientists in managing multiple projects.· Good understanding of GaN-based device and monolithic ICs processes, device physics, on-wafer DC and RF/mmWave characterisation, device and MMIC modelling and simulation, failure analysis/reliability, and product qualifications.· Possess strong leadership and project management quality, good interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with ability to deliver clear and concise messages to both internal and external stakeholders.Company information Registration No.T08GB0002CReport this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.Researching careers?
